Resizing in Outlook not working

Dear,
I am using Todoist Outlook plugin. Until now I was able to resize the sontent of the plugin in Outlook, using CTRL and mouse scroll. After latest Todoist update it stopped working. A can not use the plugin, as my display has very high DPI and the content is so tiny, impossible to use.
Can you help me with it, please?

Thanks.

Hello Peter,

The update ported our plugin from IE's engine to Chrome engine, but if you have your system display settings set to large text or all elements of the screen to be magnified, our plugin should be affected by it. Please tell me - are you using system-wide zoom?

Best regards,
David

Hello David,
I have a lot of troubles with this high resolution display...
I am using Lenovo Ideapad Yoga which has 13 inch display with resolution 3200x1800. The OS is Windows 8.1. In the resolution settings I use the option to "Increase text and other items", which causes DPI scaling and most applications are OK with this options. But it seems like the plugin doesn't take this setting into account...
If you need some more information, just write me.
I had some problems with SAP Logon application, a this post helped me to solve it:
http://hexword.wordpress.com/2013/11/22/how-to-use-sap-gui-on-a-surface-pro-2-no-magnifying-glass-required/
Of course you can not use the same procedure, but there are some useful information about DPI scaling.

Best regards,
Peter

Peter,

I'm also using Windows 8.1, I have changed the slider below "Increase text and other items" and it affects everything including our Outlook plugin, all text and all elements in our plugin are magnified.

Please tell me - what version of Outlook are you using and have you tried to uninstall, redownload and reinstall our plugin or change the "increase text size..." option after our plugin has been installed?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,
I am using Outlook 2013. I removed the plugin, downloaded again (file OutlookTodoist.Adx, version 2.6.4.0) and installed. But after installation I don't see the plugin in the list of Outlook plugins.... :-( I tried to restart the computer and to all the same again, but I still see no plugin in Outlook.
If necessary, I could give you some remote access.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi David,
I have tried Todoist For Windows. It works fine, and it responses to changes in the slider (Increase text and other items). But even with maximum size the items are too small. Without ability to zoom window content, only usable Todoist app is whe web app.

Best regards,
Peter

Hello Peter,

Please make sure this is the version you've got: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/49603436f7edf6fa3baa609dbdda1c1d/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe and/or try to reinstall it "as administrator".

If there's anything different between the installation process from the time it worked and the one it didn't work, please let us know, it would help us identify the issue.

Best regards,
David

Hello David,
I have downloaded the file from the link and installed it as administrator. I still don't see the plugin in Outlook. I don't remember anything different on my setup between the time it worked, and now. :-(
Only place, where I can see Todoist plugin, is the system list od installed programs (Add/Remove programs).

Best regards,
Peter Lamacka

Peter,

I've passed it to our developers and we'll prepare a new version of our plugin which should address this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
