How to access custom query?

Z

Hi, after I set up the custom query - how do I access it? The only way I can find to do so is by typing the URL http://todoist.com.

Hi Zee,

On the main website, all desktop apps, and mobile you can find it on the left hand menu. You should see a tab for Projects, Labels and Filters. It will be under the Filters tab.

Strange no i don't see it, perhaps I accidentally deleted it. Would be great to have a better/clearer way of accessing it - ideally the Todoist logo itself imo.

...or at least a keyboard shortcut.

Zee,

We will consider adding more options to access these, though you can just search for the same thing. The side menu is always accessible.

Brendon.

I would like to second that there should be a quick way to return to the custom query configured in the settings once you navigate away from the default view. If I am looking at projects or labels, I should not need to switch to filters to click on a filter that matches my default custom query. Perhaps having something like "Home" above "Inbox" that navigates to the user's default query might work.

I really love the way searching works especially being able to order the results using commas.

I like the idea of setting a custom query for when I log in to Todoist, however I can't find a way to bring it up by default when I go away from it. My natural instinct is to click the Todoist logo (top left) to get to it, but it doesn't change the view at all. I have to either re-enter todoist.com in the address bar to get to it.

It would be great to make my custom query a default button/link in the sidebar if possible.

Yep, same thing i requested. It doesn't make sense to require the website to be reloaded to get back to your default view, does it.
