Add Task - Move E-mail

SR

I'm doing a little test of todoist and I'm excited about the Outlook possibilities..

When I add a task from my inbox I want it to move the e-mail, moving me close to inbox 0 :) Is there a way to do it? What is people's workflow?

Hello Scott,

You can add the email as task and then move it to a different folder in Outlook. Please tell me - does it not work?

David

I can move it manually.. But I wanted Todoist to do it for me!

Add the task, remove the mail from the inbox.. One click.

Scott,

Thank you for clarifying, that's indeed not possible and we're unsure if it will be. You can't delete the email after you add it as a task as then you won't be able to find it. What folder would the task need to go? Not everyone would have this folder.

Nonetheless, you're welcome to request such feature in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/ and we may consider it in future updates.

Best regards,
David

Thanks David.. I might just do that.. I see it like an outlook type rule to do more than just add a task.

Move it somewhere safe.. Send a reply to someone of a predefined template. easy!
