"Assign to person" inconsistencies

DS

Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005)
Android: Stock v4.4.2, no "root" and "task killers".
Language: Polish
App Version: 3.1.2

I need to assign a person to a task in a project. However, in one task I have a choice between: "Unassigned", "Me" and Collaborator's name (where I can also find the e-mails listed below). This is fine and clear.

In the other task, but in a different project though, I do exactly the same thing, but I can only see a choice between: "Unassigned" and Collaborator's e-mail. There is no "Me" and Collaborator's name or it is rather blank. Both projects have the same members.

The same cases work flawlessly via gmail's extension in firefox. I took the screenshots if you are interested.

Regards,
Dominik

Hello Dominik,

Please tell me - can you reproduce this issue in a newly added project? A few weeks ago, we've had to make a change to the way project IDs are handled and although in most cases it shouldn't affect anything, some project created before that may cause some problems of this kind.

That said, please try to create a new project and reproduce this issue. Also, did the other collaborator accept their invitation to the affected project? Did you leave the project yourself at some point and got re-invited by them?

Best regards,
David

Project recreated and the issue is gone. It looks like that Android application is affected unlike the web counterpart.

> did the other collaborator accept their invitation to the affected project?

Yes, he did. However, the problem was that there was no "Me" - not the collaborator.

> Did you leave the project yourself at some point and got re-invited by them?

No. I created the project and sent the invitations. Never left.

Dominik,

I'm glad to hear that it works in a new project correctly. If you'd ever experience this issue in a new project, please let us know.

Best regards,
David
