Copy & Paste

Samsung Note 3. Up until two days ago, I was able to copy & paste in between tasks etc. I am now unable to do this. It is only on Todoist app. The other apps etc in Note 3 have no problem doing this.
Please advise as this is a VERY important must have for me.
TY

Hello John,

Please tell me - you can't select text from a task's name and copy/paste it to another task's name, is that correct?

If so:
- What version of our app are you using?
- What version of Android are you using?
- Are you using any custom keyboard/entry/font-changing apps?

Best regards,
David

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier and thank you for your quick response.

Yes, that is correct

Version 3.1.3
Android 4.3
Using default "Samsung Keyboard" and "Swype" is also checked off.
I am able to copy & paste in most every other app.
Thank you in advance for any advice.
John

John,

Thank you for clarifying, I'll pass it to the developers.

John,

Please tell me - does it actually also happen with Swype or just the "Samsung keyboard"? Do you have any other keyboards which you could check (to see if it works)?

David

John,

Just to clarify your answer, so not it's not copy/pasting with either keyboard?

We are looking into it, though we are having a hard time figuring out how it could have stopped working without an update even pushing out.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,
Correct. It is odd, now I can copy. (I restarted my Smsung Note 3). BUT i still cant paste. It only pastes something that I previously copied. Main problem is that it does not paste what I just previously copied. It pastes something that I copied before. I guess the copy part does not clear out and REPLACE with the new copy that I just copied. Does that make sense?
TY,
John

John,

Could you please install a different keyboard to be 100% sure if it's not the keyboard's fault? You've mentioned that you can copy and paste in "most" other apps so there are some others where it doesn't work either?

Checking a different keyboard would really help in investigating this issue.

Best regards,
David

Absolutely. Do you have any suggestions as to a good keyboard to use?

Hi John,

Give Swiftkey a try (its a month trial, but we are only testing :))

Brendon.
