Project Description field?

RV

Hi there. Just getting started with TODOIST Premium. I was hoping to find a field for a project description, where I could add some information about the project. But I'm not finding an option for this, the only option is to add tasks, but that isn't what I'm looking for. Is there an option for project description that I am missing?

Hi Rita,

There are no project description/notes at this time. We will consider adding this in future updates. Though, you can add notes to each task for more information.

Brendon.

I tip I learned from someone else in this forum - I have a task at the top of my project with an asterisk as the first character called "*PROJECT NOTES" - the star keeps the task from having a checkbox. Then, I attach my project-level notes to that task. Works like a charm!

fyi: it has been noted on this support site that the * "heading" feature (no checkbox) is going away

Well, I really hope that if it IS going away, that they add a field for a project description/notes. Essential! (Hope someone is listening... this seems like such a no-brainer.)

I agree. Todoist is great, but this feature is totally lacking. I would love to have at my disposal the project description / deadlines / contacts. Using a note is not enough. It has to be quickly accessed, maybe a drop down, with an easy way to format (bold, colors, etc.) Just my two cents.

We have started implementing ToDoist in the company that I work for and the project description field would be a great help!

The * feature is really nifty. THanks for sharing.
Is there any such other rare productive feature?
