I am still getting reminders on my iOS app for a task which has been marked as completed and which I even deleted using the web app.
How can I make these notifications stop.
- You are updated to the latest iOS app?
- You have checked the web version to see if these tasks are indeed completed?
- You have signed out from each location and back in again?
We aren't able to reproduce this issue at this time. Another user has had success though in a related issue, by removing all instances of Todoist, browser extension, mobile apps, desktop apps, clearing cache for browsers etc.
Then re-installing/logging in one by one. I know this is not ideal, but at the moment we aren't able to reproduce this issue and this could resolve it.
Signing out and signing back in again on the IOS app seems to have resolved the issue.
I'm glad it didn't to come down to uninstalling
Thanks for your help,
I have the same issue.
If i get it weel, every time i set a reminder from the ios app, i have to log out / log in to stop receiving them !!!
Please clarify, you are saying the reminders disappear if you sign out of the app?
i mean If log out / log in is the only way to get rid of the reminders when you set them from ios, that's not really ideal...
Yes of course, but she did not mention that, it appears to have resolved the issue for good for her, unless of course she comes back.
I thought you had the issue of a reminder not working, she was having an issue with it going off for completed tasks. Are you saying you have this issue as well?
Yes, i completed a task on which i set a reminder from ios.
after i completed it, i kept on receiving many notifications on my iPhone.
My comment was kind of a joke, but to be honest, i don't know if i should set other reminders from ios because i'm worried that only log in / log out would make it stop reminding me
