Project sharing with premium account

SK

Can a premium user share his projects with 25 non-premium users?
Are these non-premium users able to upload files as notes to tasks?

Hello Stepan,

Yes, a Premium user can invite 25 other users to each project even if they have free accounts (it does not work vice-versa, though).

Non-Premium users will not be able to upload files into notes, but they'll have access to files uploaded by a Premium user.

Best regards,
David

I am considering to sign up for a premium account so that I can assign tasks to non-premium users. Will a non-premium user be able to see what a fellow non-premium user is assigned, or will they also need to sign up for premium service?

Hello,

You can assign tasks to everyone regardless of your account status, only the limits will be different - having a free account you can invite only 5 users to each project. With Premium, you can invite 25.

Everyone you invite to a project, whether they are Premium or not and whether you're Premium or not, will see all data in this project incl. assignments and will be able to assign tasks too.

The only limitation (aside from the invited people count) is attaching files to comments. Only Premium users can upload a file, but everyone will be able to see and access files uploaded by a Premium user.

Best regards,
David

HI David,

to your quote "The only limitation (aside from the invited people count) is attaching files to comments. Only Premium users can upload a file, but everyone will be able to see and access files uploaded by a Premium user." here is my question:

Are you saying that non-premium users CAN assign tasks in invited projects to other premium/non-premium members? AND...they can make comments?

Will they soon be able to post status messages? My main issue is that I wanted an offline "wedoist" tool, because todoist is actually more useful, with the status and chat features of wedoist!

Hello Sachiv,

Yes, a free user can assign tasks to other people invited in a project and post comments, updates or status messages in the task's comments section.
