filters: view all exect @home

K

Hi,

I can't get this filter to work.

Every morning at work I want to print and review all my tasks exept the ones labeled @home.

so I try:

view all !@home

but this doesn't produce any results.

simply filtering !@home loses the project structure wich I like.

Is there a way to do this?

Best Regards,
Koen

Hello Koen,

Unfortunately, that's not possible. The viewall filter is "special", it will always show all tasks from all project on a list separated by project names so the only way to view all tasks that don't have a specific label is to use the !@home syntax, though as you've noticed, this will apply the standard sorting option - by priority and by date, not by project.

We will consider changing it in the future, though and you're welcome to request it in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Best regards,
