outlook addin ANNOYING

ever since I updated my outlook add-in, it keeps giving me tips to create a project. I create a project to remove the annoying popup. The popup goes away, delete the project and the popup comes back. You're likely to lose a customer if it doesn't get fix within a day...beyond annoying, cannot use the addin..useless

Hi Matt,

Do you not have any projects created? This only occurs on new accounts, when there has not been anything done yet. Though, even then, it should only suggest it once. Does this only occur on the Outlook addin, or does it happen on the web version as well?

Regards,
Brendon.

It only happens on the outlook plugin, which I updated a day or two ago. I do not have projects created. I just have tasks added. The project function is not needed for me, just the tasks list. Thanks.

Matt,

Are you 100% sure you are signed into the same account. If you logged in with Google this time when you normally use Pass/Email combo, that could create a new account. Then you'd have no tasks or anything entered, which would make sense for this.

Nonetheless, I am not able to reproduce this issue, with a new account. It only asks once.

Regards,
Brendon.

I'm positive. I have all my to-do tasks still. I have created 5-6 projects and removed them to try and get rid of the annoying pop-up...no luck.

Matt,

In that case, please try clearing the cache (and offline data) for Chrome (our plugin uses this to connect) and the browser you tried using as well.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hello Matt,

We'll look into it, thank you for your report.

For now, as a workaround, please add one project and keep it. You won't have to add tasks to it and by default, the Quick Add option will still use the Inbox.

Best regards,
David
