Can I synch my todo's and events onto my Mac Calendar on my Mac computer?

LT

If so, how? And, where in the future can I find more videos about how a new user can learn how to most easily make use of this great app?

Hi Lee,

You can grab our iCal Feed URL from the Todosit.com settings page. Top right corner, click on the Gear icon. This can be pasted/added to any calender software.

You can find many of our help pages and videos from here. https://next.todoist.com/Help

Regards,
Brendon.

Brendon,

First off, you assume, incorrectly that I am knowledgable enough to understand how to "grab our i-cal Feed URL" and then "paste/add to any calendar software".

I am an idiot when it comes to such things. THere, I've said it.

So can you be a little more specific in your instuctions so THIS idiot can do, rather than figure out and do, what you suggest.

I will go to the help pages immediately to learn the basics.

One last question.

Can you tell me how to be reminded of an appointment days and hours prior to the appointment? And can I preform that same function on my iphone, ipad and computer?

Lee,

Head to Todoist.com, in the top right corner there is a gear icon, click this then Settings. On the new pop-up, there will be an iCal Feed URL listed, near the bottom of that new popup. Select all of it, right click, copy.

Just open up the Mac calender application, go to the top menu bar, click on File, then New Calender Subscription. This new pop-up is where you paste the URL into.

As for reminders, this link (and video) should be able to help you out. https://next.todoist.com/Help/Reminders If you go to this page, you can see the date options that we have available. https://next.todoist.com/Help/DatesTimes

As for mobile, it would be the same as shown in those help pages, you just need to click on the task on the iOS device, then a list of menu items appear, one being Reminders, from there you can follow the on screen instructions to add a date/due time.

Regards,
Brendon.
