Current view doesn't update after a sync

CS

Hi,

The selected query, filter doesn't automatically refresh after a sync. For example, my laptop comes back online and I'm looking at the list of task for today, the tasks that were added while my laptop was offline are not showing until I navigate to a different view and back to today. This happens even if I hit cmd-r (sync)

Thanks

Hello Christian,

If Todoist goes into offline mode (and shows the triangle icon in the top-right corner), then it will retry to connect after a while. Please hover over this triangle and let me know what does the tooltip say as it may take some time before it reties to establish a connection.

Also, please tell me:
- Does the view refresh when you try to make a change on a different platform?
- What filter is it exactly?

Best regards,
David

The problem is not with Todoist going offline, its that it doesn't refresh the current view/filter after a sync.

For example, I have a bunch of errands in Today. I put my laptop to sleep and then mark some of theses task as done on my phone. When I go back to my laptop, the task are not marked until I switch to another view/filter and come back to today (click on Inbox then back to Today)

Christian,

OSX is a bit slow when coming out of Sleep, at least in terms of connections. Are you using a wired or wireless system? It may just be the time it takes to reconnect to the connection, as I have seen that happen myself.

So to clarify, if you wait there, a couple minutes, and refresh it, it does not change? Only when you switch views?

Regards,
Brendon.

There's no update until I switch view. I just tried and if I add a new task on my phone and refresh the OSX app just after, the new task doesn't show up until I switch view.

Christian,

We have just released an update to our Mac app, please confirm if the issue still persists.

That issue is gone.

But now cmd-r or sync from the menu open the quick entry dialog instead of refreshing.

It would be useful to have access to the version number somewhere in the app?

Thanks
