Hello,I would like if there is a way to add an email task directly from the email window. Maybe by adding in the email window ribbon a quick command? Thanks a lot for your help
Hello Thomas,It depends on what method of adding emails as task you prefer. If you like to LINK emails to tasks - then that's not possible, you need to select the email in your inbox to use the "Add email as task" option. If you like to SEND emails to project - then you can CC your Todoist project's unique email address and as you send the mail, it will be added as a task, but it won't create a link to it. Instead, it will convert the entire message into a task note.To try the second option, please right-click on a project and choose "Email tasks to this project" for more information.Best regards,David
Thanks a lot David. Do you think it will come as a new feature one day?Cheers
Thomas,It's possible, but I can't guarantee it. The most straight-forward way of identifying the message is by checking if it's highlighted, but we will look into it and hopefully can also identify it through the open mail.Best regards,David
Thanks a lot for you answer. and the fast response.Tom
If I send emails to the project, does the task note also include attached files such as pdf´s, doc´s, etc?
Hello Karl,Unfortunately not. Files attached to an email are not being uploaded along with the content of the message. We will consider adding such option in the future and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/show/6228/Best regards,David
