Repeting reminder

HA

Hi,

is it possible to create repeating reminders? I mean: the task is due at 17:00, I set a reminder at 16:30. A receive the reminder at 16:30 but if at that moment my phone is not with me (e.g. I went out the room for a minute) I can not hear the reminder. Is it possible to set the remidender that way that it should remind in every 5 minutes starting at 16:30 until I terminate it?

Thanks for the answer.

Andrea

Hello Andrea,

There are 2 types of reminders - absolute and relative.

Relative reminders require the task to have a time. If you set the task to today at 17:00, you'll get one automatic relative reminder set to "30 minutes before".

Absolute reminders don't require the task to have a time, you can set the task just to "today", but then set the absolute reminder to a date and time which can be recurring. However, it can only be a date-base recurrence such as "every day at 16:00".

The alternative solution would be to add multiple reminders to the same task, one to today at 16:30, another to today at 16:40 etc.

Best regards,
David

Hello David,

Thanks for the answer.

It seems that the "alternative solution" would be right for me, but if the time of the task changes, I have to change all the reminders manually.

Best regards,

Andrea

Andrea,

That's correct so as another alternative, instead of adding multiple absolute reminders, you could add multiple relative reminders:
- 30 minutes before
- 10 minutes before
- 0 minutes before
