SMS not coming with recurring tasks
In my task with recurring dates SMS reminders are not working (sms not coming). Task has date and time. New tasks are working, but I have a few old that not working from about a week ago.
Unfortunately there has been many changes in the past few weeks, and re-creating your old ones may be the only solution at this time. Much of the code was changed, but requires new information for it to work.
So please clarify, if you create a new one, it works fine?
Ok, I deleted recurring task and recreated and it works now.
But for several days I I had no important notifications ;p
Unfortunately, I have to say that recurring notifications do not come.
I have set a notification for 10 minutes before the event.
If I add new post sms came only once.
Please let us know what's the exact due date you've used in the affected tasks?
First is: Every day at 12
Second is: Every day at 19
Thank you for this information. This issue may be caused by the unclear due time. Please either use 12pm and 19pm or 12:00 or 19:00. Even 1200 or 1900 should work.
I tested it for "12:00" format and it still not work :(
Problem is only with recurring "every day" task. I even delete this tasks and again create but next day notification didn't came...
I write task in Polish language: "codziennie o 12:00". Notification set with 10 minutes before.
Task is valid, clock icon is visible, notifications are visible in popup notification windows.
Normal single task working fine.
Please confirm one more thing - have you tried the same with email reminders and if so - do they also not arrive for the same recurring task or is it just an SMS-specific issue?
I tested with e-mail - notify not came too.
Please do something with this bug.

We appear to be having more issues with Reminders now, that we are looking into. Please clarify,
- The issue is only with SMS, or as described above, email as well?
- Is it only with the described dates above, or anything reminder now?
- sms & e-mails not coming
- only with my two recurring tasks, I change them time and notify not came too
Any news in this case?
I delete, create new task and I still not have recuring notification.......

This issue has now been fixed, please log out and back into your account.
Unfortunately that still not working for me. I relogin and recreating task with diffrent times (before 12.00 and after 12.00). SMS notify came only once..
Please test it on Polish language.
Please confirm if the issue also persists for email reminders.
I've tested it with email reminders now, adding 2 tasks:
- one with no due date and a reminder set to "dzis o 16:10"
- one task with a due date "codzien o 16:40"
and at exactly 16:10 I've got 2 email reminders - one for each task.
Let me know if you're getting email reminders or if the issue affects them too.
I tested for there days and neither sms and E-MAIL do not came.
It is tasks with "every day at" in polish is "codziennie o xx:xx".
If I write it in English, system re write it to Polish again.
Just to clarify - did you actually type the date in English? You can (should) use the Polish date if you have Todoist set to Polish.
Also, are you using or having our Android app installed? There's a bug in the current version (which we're fixing now) that will affect reminders across all platforms.
No, I generally use Polish words. Only now for testing I try English but its not helping with problem. There is no other problem in dates, only with this recuring reminders :-(
I use most Web app and sometime Windows app but those tasks I created on website.
I've checked now again. I've created a new task, set no due date for it, saved it, right-clicked, entered "codziennie o 19:36", set it to email and the email reminder arrived on time.
Unfortunately, I'm unsure at this point what can cause this issue. I could reproduce it just like you every time at first, but then it got fixed, I posted here and ever since I can't reproduce it. I did clear the cache and logged out and back in for the changes to take effect and it still works.
Did you log out and clear the browser's cache (and offline data) after I've posted that it's fixed on 6 March?
First time created notification are comes! But next day and next day not.
I relogin, I will clear cache but it should not be a problem...

I re-login, re-create recurring sms tasks and only first day they came. Next day sms are not coming :(
Is this only my problem? :(
Our developers have managed to reproduce this for all languages and the fix has been implemented already. If the issue still persists, please confirm what date and time did you use with the task to reproduce it now.
My lasy reply (from Apr 13, 2014 - 13:54) I thought its wrong because my not confirm yesterday tasks are not notify but it's normal I suppose. Active "today" recuring task notify are coming. Thanks! :)
