All of my due dates were shifted back one day

AW

When I woke up this morning and looked at Todoist, all of my due dates were moved back one day. So today, became tomorrow, next sunday became next monday, etc. The text dates that I had entered were still correct, but the discrete dates that are displayed and used for categories were wrong.

Hello Alan,

Please tell me - did you travel to a different time zone lately? Did you access Todoist on a device that has an incorrect time zone or a different time zone from the one you've set in Todoist's settings?

Best regards,
David

I did move from Mountain to Central time on 1/31. It's possible that one of my devices hadn't updated the time zone until today or yesterday. A little strange that it took that long but possible. I've updated all of the dates so they're accurate now.

It happened again today, in the past hour. I didn't log into Todoist on any new devices, and didn't change time zones.

Alan,

So far, the only cause for these kind of issues were time-zone related. Did you move to a different zone again without adjusting Todoist's time zone? Or did this happen after you've adjusted it after your recent travel?

Any details about whether you've changed location, time, date or time zone settings or even used a VPN server located in a different time zone would be helpful.

Best regards,
David

Strangely, none of the above. This happened yesterday, which was six days after I switched time zones, then again today between 8-9 am, when I wasn't even on my computer.

Alan,

You have checked all places Todoist is being used? Sometimes even if your account is open on one location, another browser, mobile, etc it can end up causing issues, even though it shouldn't.

Regards,
Brendon.

Well there's an interesting discrepancy. Whatever the problem is only affects the browser version. iOS and OSX have the right dates.

Alan,

In that case, please tell us - does logging out, clearing your browser's cache, reloading the browser and logging back in solve this issue?

Best regards,
David

Sure enough, that did it. Thanks.
