Today's tasks start "hidden" in "Next 7 Days" view

P

Hi,

I'm on version 3.0.8, but I usually only use the widget so it's possible that this behavior was there in previous releases and I just haven't noticed it before.

When I launch the app I have the default view "Next 7 Days". The tasks for today are not visible in the list at first, it looks like there are no tasks for today. But the tasks are there, if you scroll up to see them! So basically, the view defaults to "Tomorrow" instead of "Today".

It looks like this:

Today, Fri 31 Jan
Tomorrow, Sat 1 Feb
- Task 1
- Task 2
Sunday 2 Feb

Scroll up and you'll see Task 1 and Task 2 for TODAY as well.

Just noticed that the same thing happens whenever I switch to the "Next 7 Days" view.
To reproduce, select "Today" or "Inbox" and then navigate back to "Next 7 Days". It defaults to the tasks of tomorrow.

Hello Patrik,

I will pass it to the developers and we'll look into it. Although I'm not 100% sure at this point, this could be intended behavior considering that it's a list of tasks for the next 7 days where today is "an extra". But again, I'll ask the devs to make sure it's not an unintended glitch.

Best regards,
David

Hi,

For me it only makes sense that the "Next 7 Days" includes today, all the tasks for the 7 days closest to "what do I have to do right now and very soon". Shouldn't have to do any extra work to see what's coming up - maybe deadlines in a few hours for tasks today.

Today I have an overdue task and the behavior is the same for that; open the app and it jumps to "today", which is the second "category" after the headline "Yesterday". Maybe I can understand that Yesterday is hidden, even though it's not the behavior I would like.

Today I'm on version 3.0.9

Hi,

I just realized that the widget behaves as expected. I use the "Next 7 days" widget, but I don't have to scroll up to see today's tasks in the widget. Would expect the app to behave the same way for the same view.
