Typing !! at the beginning of a task - it gets re-coded

I attempted to add this task:
!!1:1 test!! - this is broken

Todoist turned the task into:
:1 test!! - this is broken
//and it makes it a priority 1 task//

I believe this is because the shortcut for priority must be:
!!1

This is an issue because !!1 (or !!2, !!3 or !!4...) to set priority is the same shortcut if you wanted to bold your item.
Why not use standard *bold* convention for bold?

I am super duper stoked on your product, hence all my feedback. I really want to see this do well.

Thank you for your help,
Russell

Hi Russel,

The command for priorities is !p1 so that is not the cause to this issue. I believe the issue is that the : is causing the problem, it breaks it up. If you remove that and replace it with a dash, does it still happen?

Brendon.

I typed:
!!1-1 Test!!

Todoist changed it to:
-1 test!!
//note: it also changes it to a priority 1 task//

- - -

To test the priority issue, I typed:
!!2 Test

Todoist changed it to:
Test
//and the task was set to priority 2//
//this worked for !!3 and !!4 as well; both set the priority level to the number after the two exclamation marks//

In short:
!!1 and !p1 do the same thing.

MY CURRENT HACK:
I type:
!! 1:1 Test!!
//note: the space after the two exclamation marks//

Todoist makes a bold version then of:
1:1 Test
