Invites not working

In Premium, I make a project shared. I send an invite to someone with a free account. They accept the invitation, but are still listed as Pending in my todoist. They do not see the project in their todoist. I delete the invite and try again, same problem. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Dan,

Please tell me:
- What devices are you and the invited person using (browsers, mobile apps, plugins)?
- Did the invited person create their account directly from the invitation or had one already?
- In what language does the invited person use Todoist?

Desktop/laptop - Chrome browser and app
They had one already

Dan,

Are you sure you're inviting the other person's correct email address? Does the other person see an alert within the app (the bell icon) about the invitation and accept it through there or through the email?

No, that was the problem, they "accepted" through the email. The email I invited with was not the one they used to open todoist. With the correct email, it works now.
