My tasks are disappearing from both the web and Mac OS app. What is going on? How can I get them back?

It is the same account. Some of my tasks are there.
Hello Abbie,Please clarify, what you've said that your tasks "are disappearing", do you mean that this issue keeps continuing and more and more tasks are vanishing?You can always restore your tasks from the Settings -> Backups by importing them from the template of the certain project.Best regards,David
Yes, I create them, they are there for awhile and then they disappear. I also had a case where I had marked some tasks as completed and they showed up as not completed 5 minutes later.
Abbie,Are you offline at any point, and then close the application? Or do they disappear in front of your eyes, as in, you see it happen?Did you find them in the backups mentioned above?Regards,Brendon.
There is not a backup that has the tasks I am looking for. This relates to only some of the tasks for a specific project.
I am online, but the todoist screen is in the background. When I come back they are gone.
Abbie,What is the full details, project name, when did you create it, did you create this on the web, or the desktop app? Of the tasks that keep going away, what are their details, recurring, notes?Regards,Brendon.
It applies to all of the tasks I created today on my desktop in multiple projects. They were there for several hours and it was syncing then they disappeared.
Abbie,Please tell me - are you using Safari? Our Mac app itself is also using Safari so if that's your default browser, this would be at least one common factor. Could you please try to use a different browser just to see if the issue persist in it as well?Best regards,David
Hi David, Ok. I am using firebox this morning and it is syncing fine with the Mac Ap. However, I'm a little nervous to put too many things in if they might just disappear. Also, as of yesterday I get these two errors when I email a task: 1) An email was sent from "[myemailaddresshere]".Todoist could not process this due to a model error.The cause is unknown, but could be related to a deleted item.If you wish to send emails from this address add it to your Todoist account:[url here]2) An email was sent from "[myemailaddresshere]".This email sender is unknown for us and the email was discarded.If you wish to send emails from this address add it to your Todoist account:[url here]My email was working yesterday morning to send tasks, so I don't understand what has started happening. please advise.
Abbie,The mail-related issue is unfortunately caused by something we've had to address, but the only way to do it was to change the ID format of the emails of projects.Therefore, please go to the "Email tasks to this project" window and get the changed addresses of each project.
