Sync not working

Hi,

Sync is not working well.

Most of the time, i have the exclamation mark in the red triangle over and over...

It didn't use to do that with the old version.

That's annoying because i used to be totally stress free about syncing. Now, I'ms stressing and i'm not sure i'll have all the info i need when i go to a meeting outside my office.

Please fix this as soon as possible.

Hi Cyril,

Which browser are you using? Have you tried clearing the cache for that browser and logging back in? We are not experiencing any server issues at this time.

I'm using an iMac with the mac app.
Sync works but not always. I often see this the exclamation mark that i'm not really happy about.
I'm also using it on chrome for mac and it's the same, but i'm not using it often

The same is here. With Mac, the sync is not working and this is effect on the productivity when check the list on other devices. This is happened since last update!!
Also Label is not working properly.

Please tell me - how many tasks do you have on your account approximately?

Please clarify how are labels not working properly exactly? Are they missing, do you miss labeled task on your list, what do you click, when does it happen - when adding a new label through a task or on the label list?

For Sync, I have the same problem that is not updating the list and it seems it can't connect to server.

For labels, when click on labels to add them, sometimes it works and in many times the pop menu is not appear. All the labels are there.

Do you remember when exactly does it work and when not? Only when you use Quick Add or only when you add an email as a task, is there any specific situation in which it occurs.

We're unsure yet why this is happening. We did experience some sync issues a few days ago, all has been fixed, though. Are you still on the same network as you were before? Does anyone in your network use a lot of its bandwidth at this time?

No other computer using a lot of bandwith.
It has always worked properly before last update.

For instance, i've just added a task, and then hit "cmd+r" in order to update and i had the exclamation mark. I did it about 15 times and it kept on showing it. Then it worked...

We will look into it, but please let me know - do you have shared projects and do you have at least one project that has more than 150 tasks in it or have you tried importing more than 150 tasks at once?

I am having the same problem. The mac app takes multiple manual attempts before it syncs correctly.

Because the full screen issue, i'm now using the webapp.
I'm also experiencing issue syncing with this.
This stupid exclamation mark keeps on coming !!!

Cyril,

You appear to be one of the only ones still having issues. I would suggest logging out of your account, remove the app (maybe using an AppCleaner type of app to make sure it's all removed) clearing the cache for Safari (the reset option) and rebooting.

Then, also logging out of other locations, clearing the cache and data for those browsers/apps. Then install the latest mac app from http://todoist.com/mac and log back into it.

Besides this we are having trouble reproducing any sync issues anymore since the recent updates to our apps.

Hi,
I did a big cleaning on all my devices...
It is now working and i don't have this annoying red exclamation. I hope it won't come back.

I'm afraid the shortcut cmd+r still doesn't work.
Still have this red exclamation mark. It's really annoying.
I have to press the shortcut many times until it's synced...

Don't you think the fact that i have a lot of projects and tasks make it takes longer to sync ?

I'd love you to find a solution to this problem

I do not believe it has to do with the amount of projects/tasks you have, as it would require quite a bit to even possibly cause an issue.

You say it works, just takes many times. Can I ask what type of connection you have, any security installed, or details such as this?

I have a good private DSL with really high speed so this can't be an issue. No security that could affect this.

It has never happened before Todoist Next.

I understand you don't want to spend too long on this case as i'm the only one having this issue.

It really never happened to me before todoist next...

All my work is now based on todoist and this is very disapointing
