Reminder mobile push notification not working

I have an iPhone 4. The reminder push notification is not working on this devices. I just used the "send a notification test" feature and nothing happened. This feature has never worked for me. Suggestions?

Hi Laura,

When you create the task with the reminder and save, do you see the clock/notification icon at the right of the task? We were having server issues which could have been causing it, is it still not working?

Hi Brendon,

Yes, I see the clock on the right of the task. I've just tested the test feature again under settings > todoist settings > reminders > Push notifications : send a test message. Still not working. I've tried with both my number on and off, as it's not clear whether a mobile number is required for that test. Any luck?

The test is not working, but an actual reminder should be working now. Please let me know if its not.

Wow! Fast reply. The reminder doesn't seem to be working. Created a task now to test and neither reminders (there were two) worked. Neither on my laptop or my phone. I have recurrent reminders that DO work. But it seems that one offs don't.

Weird.

Have you logged out recently since this was created, please try doing so. Also, what is the exact syntax used to create these one offs?

Ok, I logged out, cleared cache (!) and then logged in. Created another task (syntax: picked dated using calendar, clicked on clock and typed tod at 01:59am). No luck still

Lara,

Sorry for the trouble. One more suggestion. Uninstall the app, head to Todoist.com, top right corner, Settings. Under Devices, remove all listed (unless you have other devices other then the one) and then re-install the app.

Try again.
