problems with syncing?

I am brand new to Todoist (and a premium subscriber). I am getting a perpetual icon that appears to be a syncing notification (3 moving bars gif). Then I get a red triangle telling me that offline mode is on and it will try again in 60 seconds. This keeps happening.

Also, the Chrome extension doesn't seem to want to sync at all. I have uninstalled it. New tasks I entered there were not syncing.

And finally, am I supposed to have to click refresh every time I open the Android app? Shouldn't it auto sync?

I'm using Chrome Version 32.0.1700.76 m on Windows 7.
My phone is a Galaxy Note 2.

Sorry for the trouble. Yes, we are having issues with our servers right now due to all the new users. We hope to resolve it very soon.
