How do I update to Todoist Next? I have a premium account. Thanks.
I am also interested in this.
Me 2. Sounds quite nice. Do I need to create a new account?
Me 3. I thought it was auto but don't seem to have it. I tried creating a new account also and wasn't seeing Next (or at least don't think I was).
Try logging out and logging back in. It appears that Todoist Next is a new layout with new features. On the web, you'll notice that the application version starts at 201.Best regards,Randy Miller(not affiliated with Todoist, just a user)
I just installed this for the first time today. I'm not seeing Next. The application version in the url is 202. If I change it to 201, it switches back. I've logged out and back in, I've cleared the cache and cookies for todoist on my browser. How do I get this?
Hmmm. No response from staff about this.
Yes, it's very confusing at best.
Hello everyone,Randolph has answered the question. Please sign out and back in again and you should see the changes.Regards,Brendon.
It looks the same to me...what are the changes that we should see?
He did not answer it for me Brendon. I don't see any changes. What am I supposed to see?Anyway I think that Staff should have responded to this query.
Ah, I see now that Brendon is staff. Didn't notice the logo before.
Hello,To access Todoist Next, please log out and back into your account. Todoist Next is not a new product, it's an update to Todoist adding multiple new features: https://todoist.com/nextBest regards,David
I have logged out and logged back in - 3 times - on the web and on my android. Looks the same to me.
I'm using Todoist Premium on several platforms, but here at the office I've logged out and back in on my PC (even rebooted the computer) and I don't see the new features that one can see in the video. I also don't see them on my iPhone. Lastly, someone mentioned the application version and I can't find that anywhere in the software either.
Richard and Randy, please try to log out and back again now, we've made some changes on the back-end.Best regards,David
I've logged out and back in. Still no change. I'm still seeing 202 in the url.
Terry,Please try again now.Best regards,David
I logged out but it isn't giving me a login screen to come back in. I was able to access TD in my Chrome app (I had closed Chrome when I was doing the other logout). I still don't see any difference and I don't see a version number anywhere. In the video, it was possible to start a new task and assign it to someone else...I don't see that feature.
Logged out and back in easily 5x...still don't see any of the new features or the new interface on iOS or PC...Thanks.
I am using Chrome.Logged out of browser.Logged out of android.Cleared cache and cookies.Rebooted computer.Have tried to watch the video but it doesn't load.I am not seeing anything new.In Settings in Notifications there is a notification for shared settings setting. New?
Hello,There should be a new design to the entire layout. Though a good way to test if you do have it is to right click on a project, and see if you have the option "Share" within that menu.If you see that menu within Settings, you are updated.Regards,Brendon.
OK, I seem to be upgraded, I may have been already but didn't know what to look for. I had understood the 202 would change in the url. It hasn't. Since I never saw the old layout I wouldn't recognize a layout change. However, thanks to the last post by Brendon I do see the share option on project right click. This is the feature I was looking for.Thank you!
OK Brendon I do have that option when I right click a project. As for a new design it is hard for me to tell because I have nothing to compare it to. I suffer from Acquired Brain Injury symptoms. It looks somewhat different but it is still clean and simple. Wasn't it clean and simple before?sometimes when there is a lot of hype about an upgrade actuality gets lost...A lot of unproductive running around. Yikes.
Richard,Yes, sorry about the confusion. Glad it's working for you guys. Regard,Brendon.
Finally saw the video for visual scheduling.Really?I must really be getting old, because what does a guy sitting on a bench playing with his android with his dog running around have do with visual scheduling and anything useful to me?Oh, I get it, it was a video therefore it is visual. hahaha. There is a desire to return to semaphore and carrier pigeons developing.
Thanks Brendon. It is never easy for support when the marketing gang is let out of their cages without a leash. hahaha.
