Todoist Next: Gear Icon Off Alignment (Safari)

It's not a huge deal, but on Safari for Mac the gear icon is not aligned at the top with the + icon and notification icon. Would be nice to make this gorgeous new UI even more perfect.

:-) Thanks for Todoist Next!

Cheers!
Jake

Hi Jake,

We are looking into this issue, even though we aren't able to reproduce it. Please try logging out, clearing the cache for Safari and logging back in.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

I did try this and did not help. I also verified my zoom settings are default.

Let me know if there is anything else I should try.

Thanks,
Jake

I'm having the same problem with Safari. Gear icon is positioned below and slightly to the left of the + icon. It is important because it looks silly. Gear icon should be in line with +, bell, and Karma. Thanks!

Also, when you click a task done, and Todoist refreshes with the moving vertical bars, the gear icon shifts to the left under the bars, then shifts back to under the + when it finishes. Again with Safari.

Yea thats exactly what I see. With such a beautiful new UI, I really hope this can be fixed.

Everyone,

Please confirm that you have recently logged out, cleared the cache for Safari, and logged back in. As changes were made.

If so, and it's still occurring, we are still looking into this issue, though we are having troubles reproducing it.

Regards,
Brendon.

The gear icon is also off alignment on the app for Mac.

Clearing cache and logging back in did not fix it.

Yes, the logout and cache clear trick did not help my issue with this either. The UI is so slick, that this is like a flashing light that draws my eye.

Personally, I like it placed at the end of the row of other icons like it is on the web based version in Safari. Anything but a little offset from the plus sign like now, though.

LOL If this is the extent of the pitchfork mob's agenda after a significant overhaul, I think you can say that you succeeded.

I'm really liking the changes that were made, so far . . . except that damned gear, of course.

Are you referring to the Mac app or Safari because it is still not fixed in Safari 6.0.3.

Hello Andy,

We were referring to the Mac app, we'll look into the Safari issue.

Best regards,
David

Thanks David!

I still see the issue in Safari as originally reported. Could it have something to do with the Karma points and the amount of characters? I'm an "enlightened" user ;-)

Thanks,
Jake

Jake,

Thanks for the information, I do not believe it's based off rating, but we are looking into it now.

Brendon.
