ToDoist not opening emails

I have reinstalled todoist back into my Outlook, which was working fine until seemingly an update this morning.
I can "Add email as task" but then when I click on the email to work on it I get an error message:
TypeError: Unable to get property 'openmail' or undefined or null reference.

I have checked it is ticked in COM add-in and I've uninstalled and reinstalled.
It was working ok y'day. Please help.

I am using Outlook 2013 on windows 8.

Thanks.

Todoist team,
I believe you guys can imagine how critical it is when we found this update made us unable to open emails on the first workday morning of the week.

Please fix this as soon as possible!

If you have a workaround that we can apply by ourselves, we'd love to try.

Hi all, same problem since 1 h (Outlook 2013 on Win8). This afternoon I've noticed a new interface of the Outlook plugin and everything has worked fine since some min ago. Same error message as described by Catherine Lee.
Thank you.
Best regards
Franceso

This is quite a critical issue. I'm using and paying for todoist because of the outlook plugin that is missing in all other similar apps. Please correct this in a short notice and please, please do not forget to fix the issue about losing the email link if we move the email to other folder!!! I was able to do so with the experimental version 2.3.0 but with this update it is not work anymore!!

Regards,
Fernando

I have the same issue in outlook. I am not moving the task from it's original folder. I I have the label inserted at the end of the task message but when I save it "todoist" moves it to the front? I don't wish to be negative but after perusing messages from a year ago it appears you were having the same problem and promised a quick fix? I cannot wait that long for a fix? Please advise.

thanks,

Frank

Frank,

Please confirm, have you logged out, cleared the cache for IE (the plugin requires this) and signed back in?

Regards,
Brendon.

It only works on the machine I create the task on. After sync it doesn't not work on the remote machine?

Again, Working on my Windows 7 32bit (outlook2010) but nothing happens when I double click a link on my remote Windows 8.1 (same)

I use outlook 2010 to view not IE. My browser of choice is firefox but I view through outlook.

Please advise

Frank,

I have let the devs know about this, with your system details, though the issue seems to be resolved for everyone else.

The Outlook plugin uses IE to work, clearing the cache for Firefox will not do anything, confirm, did you clear the cache for IE?

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon

Just wanted to say that have logged out, cleared cache and logged back in and all working perfectly.

Have found some more features in the updates which are pretty cool.

Thanks for fixing so quickly.

Thanks
Catherine

I have cleared cache in IE 11 and logged in/out and I still cannot open email task which has not been removed from it's original location. I have not assigned a label either? The task will open on the machine it was created on but not the remote in IE11 or outlook 2010 or firefox.

Frank,

This is not updated yet. We are working hard to finish the updated Outlook plugin, and this issue and more will be addressed. We are hoping it won't be much longer.

Regards,
Brendon.
