Is Todoist compatible with IFTTT?

I've been a very big fan of todoist for a while now. I just came across recently IFTTT.com and am very interested in integrating your already amazing todo list system into this amazing product.

I was considering going to Toodledo that's how awesome IFTTT is but I don't really want to abandon Todoist or have to relearn a new system. Help me out here and let me know that there is a simple upgrade for you guys to make this happen.

I think it would be worth your while considering how popular IFTTT is getting.

:) Thanks!

Further is there any way that I can sync Todoist to my google calendar. A separate plugin or feature would be nice but IFTTT is pretty cool!

You can sync your Todoist with you gcal by using the iCalendar feed at the bottom of your Premium Settings dialog box. Copy that url and put into a new calendar through gcal and it should auto sync from then on.

Hi - I use IFTTT and Todoist. Essentially you need to use the project emails in Todoist.

In IFTTT use the Gmail channel as the trigger ("Then That"), with the Todoist email in the trigger.

I use it to push Reminders from Siri into my Todoist inbox. It doesn't erase the Reminders from Apple's app, but it at least gives me a way to speak my to do's into Todoist while I'm driving.

Using IFTTT sort of works - but does anyone have a way to tag the emails in IFTTT? It seems to choke on the <tags> (for example <date today>) in the recipe...

You can beat the <date today> tag problem using double characters, like <<date today>>. It leaves a <> in the task name created, but at least it sets the date correctly. I couldn't find any other escape characters that would allow me to put a single < in the IFTTT field.

Hi Matthew, I cannot make the IFTTT recipe to send ios reminders to the inbox via the project email (Inbox). Can you be more specific how you configure that? Besides the email address, do you have to change any of the subject and body of the recipe? See snap atached/

Complete integration with IFTTT is the biggest thing that's holding me back from jumping on Todoist Premium as my task manager.
