Not another update of iphone app!!!?? I can't take anymore!

PS

Hello,

I just noticed some new changes in your iphone app. The most noticeable to me is that the beautiful monthly calendar view when setting due dates has disappeared! It seems to have been replaced with that horrible "slot machine" look for picking dates. Why oh why?? I believe I used to have a choice between the two, but can't seem to find it now.

Sad.

Hello Paul,

We're sorry to hear that :( We will consider changing this in future updates, though.

Best regards,
David

TD, do yourself a favor and kill the flipper interface. The flipper sucks. Apple's iOS7 UI for this widget only made matters worse.

Another reason to go Android ;)

Damn! I thought I could do without Todoist, but I can't. I actually terminated my account earlier this week, but I'm back now.

I just don't understand all these constant updates to the app. As I recall, when you had the major update to the app a few months ago, the monthly calendar view was not a part of it.. I had understood that you added it later due to the feedback you received. And now you went and took it away again!?!?

I thought the whole essence of your site was its simplicity. I can easily add a task with a due date and priority with a few clicks. Why does the iphone app have to be so different?? Shouldn't also have the capability of making us add these tasks/details with a few "clicks"?

I still don't understand why ANY app uses that slot machine style of choosing dates. If someone wants to add an event/task that is due several weeks/months from now, they're basically spinning that thing indefinitely. And if you don't have a specific date in mind, there's no real frame of reference for choosing a date based on x number of weeks from now, etc.

At least your main website is still sort of the same as the one I fell in love with so many years ago... I hope you don't take the monthly calendar away from THAT!
