Major Problems with Todoist

I am getting very sick of the problems I am having with Todoist. When I post, I keep getting the same response from tech support.

When I add a task and put a date on it, the date comes up correct then within a minute it changes to two days past due. And before you tell me for the millionth time to change the time zone, my time zone is correct. I have even gone so far as to remove Todoist from ALL my devices to try to alleviate this problem. So again, IT IS NOT THE TIME ZONE ON MY COMPUTER. I just added 4 tasks and ALL of them showed up two days late.

I will not even go into the problems with Karma. It seems that the topic has been addressed enough already and tech support is very good at deflecting the problem and saying it is the users fault.

Now the Google Chrome app will not load. I now have to go to Todoist.com and log in to use Todoist. When I click on the app, it takes me to a blank page and I have to keep refreshing before it will show todoits. The last time I did this it took me 4 minutes and 6 refreshes to get it to appear.

I am having nothing but problems with Todoist. I like the app, otherwise I wouldn't have paid for premium for the second year. It seems that you are trying to add too much to it and make it pretty in the next iteration instead of getting it work properly.

Hello James,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience. Each time a bug is reported, we must be able to reproduce it to identify its cause. Therefore, we ask for as many details as you can provide. In this case, we would ask what exact due date and time did you add to this task and how exactly did the time change and try to do this ourselves multiple times on the platforms you're referring to.

If we can't due to lack of details or similar issues have been reported in the past, we try to at least provide some information that could be helpful for you in the meantime and based on the past reports, time-zone related issues could cause this, but again - at this point I'm just suggesting based on the information I've got so far. If you've contacted us before, please link to the related report and we'll look into it once again.

As for the Karma issue - we're very sorry for the inconvenience. We are not deflecting the problem, we're passing each report to the developers and they are working on it along with a lot of different implementations for our big update on Tuesday which will also include fixes for multiple issues. We're very sorry that it takes so long, usually bugs get fixed much faster, but the combined update on Tuesday made it a bit complicated.

Now, regarding the Chome app, please try to log out of Todoist, even on the web in Chrome, then go to Chrome's Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data and remove any Todoist-related entries from there. Then, reload the browser and let me know if the issue persists. If it does, please tell me what version of Chrome do you use and do you have any script- or ad-blocking plugins installed.

If you've been asked this questions before or have tried it already, I'm sorry for repeating this, that's the standard procedure for any bug report - we have to ask you for details and in best case suggest a possible solution based on the information so far.

Once again, we're very sorry for any inconvenience you've experiences lately, we don't want to use the next update as a justification for these issues, but the truth is - we're fixing everything in the next iteration as considering that it will come out on Tuesday, re-fixing everything in this version would again postpone the next release and since it will be much stable, we prefer to release it as soon as possible.
