Default Sorting

I have Todoist for Mac. I love the app, however, when I add new to-do items, they default towards the bottom of my inbox. I am not sure how to set the default sort so that my items instantly are sorted by date. Currently, I have to keep clicking on the wrench and pencil icon to sort them manually.

Please let me know my options, if available, so that it will automatically give me a "by date" priority.

Thank you,

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately at this time, this is how new items are added, but we will of course consider changing this in future updates.

This would be great if we could set default "sort by" perimeters.

I love to sort by priority and, like Andy, constantly keep using the wrench icon to "sort by" - just one more step and as a busy power-tasker, one more step takes time and can get annoying.

Any news on this feature?

Hi Gordon,

No, we don't have any news yet. We'll certainly update this thread if we make any progress with this.

It's been close to a year and still no progress on this request. Seems like a simple one to implement...
