Am I able to run the windows client and the outlook plugin simultaneously?

Hi,

I have the todoist outlook plugin enabled however I am unable to launch my Todoist windows app. A red exclamation mark is being displayed in the bottom right hand corner of the windows app and my tasks are not syncing. However, the outlook plugin is working fine? Any ideas?

Hello Charles,

Yes, you can use Todoist on all platforms at the same time. Please clarify - if Outlook is opened you can't launch the Widows app at all or can you launch it, but the tasks don't sync?

In the first case, please check the system tray (notifications area) if the app isn't already running (in which case a double-click on this icon or Ctrl+Alt+T will bring it back).

In the second case, please click on the triangle icon to force a sync.

If this won't work, please tell me:
- Does the Windows app always go offline when you use Outlook or also at other times?
- Are you behind any corporate proxy servers, firewalls or a VPN?

Seems to be working? I opened the Full client first then Outlook. However I do find that it's simply failing to launch in Outlook on some occasions, even if the desktop client is off. A little flaky.

We're sorry for the issues with the Outlook plugin, we'll soon release an update porting it to a different engine and addressing multiple issues with the current version.
