How do I set up a task to recur every other week? I have tried biweekly, ev other week, ev 2nd week, etc. and none of them work.
Hi Shane,Our syntax options are a bit picky at this time, we do hope to improve this. You want "every 2 weeks" or "ev 2 weeks".Thanks,Brendon.
Awesome. Thank you. I could not find any documentation on biweekly.
Ok, so I am using the following syntax for a task and keep getting denied with Invalid Date:ev 2 weeks Jan 16 @ 0700If I put the recurrence at the end, it accepts it but doesn't make the task recurring:Jan 16 @ 0700 ev 2 weeksWhat is the correct syntax? The only way I can actually get a recurring task to set biweekly is if I don't put a date on it. Then it sets the task for today recurring every 14 days.
Shane,The time needs to be before the date as well as using "starting" for a later date. For example, "ev 2 weeks at 7pm starting January 7" should work for you.Regards,Brendon.
That worked. Thank you for the response. But should it really be this difficult to make a recurring task? I understand the normal language, but shouldn't it be user friendly and accept it in different formats? I shouldn't have to do research and ask support on how I create a simple recurring task.
Hi Shane,You can find more details if you click on the date box, then Reccuring Tasks & More. We do hope to keep improving the syntax, so that more natural language will be accepted.Thanks,Brendon.
Weeks are not mentioned at all at the standard examples (Recurring Tasks), any chance Brendon asking for that update please? :-) Cheers,Mike
