Complex reminders

SB

I need to put a monthly reminder for every Thursday AFTER the second tuesday of the month.

I can do the every 2nd tuesday in the reminder field, it works.
I tried putting every 2nd tuesday +2 (so that it shifts 2 days) but the syntax is incorrect.

How can I achieve this?

Hello Sergio,

Unfortunately, such date formula is not supported and not possible to use right now, but we will consider adding more complex recurrence options in the future.

For now, the "every 2nd Tuesday" option is as close as you can get and as a workaround, you could always create a separate one-time task set to "+2" on the day you receive the reminder.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,
Thanks.

What do you mean with
"you could always create a separate one-time task set to "+2" on the day you receive the reminder."

Could you ellaborate?
You lost me there.

Sergio,

If you get the reminder for the "every 2nd Tue" task, then you could access Todoist as you receive it and consider it a reminder to create a task that's set to a due date "+2".

This way, you won't forget about the reminder 2 days later seeing the new task.

Best regards,
David
