Help - outlook todoist not working!

JH

I am trying to run todoist on outlook. The program was freezing, today and 7 days was not showing up when I chose them in menu. I uninstalled outlook todoist. Redownloaded, reinstalled. Then I open up outlook and the plugin is not appearing in my outlook. Help! How do I get todoist outlook to work again?

Hello Jonathan,

Please go to Outlook's Options -> Add-ins, click "Go" next to "COM Add-ins" at the bottom and if you'll see OutlookTodoist on this list, check off the box next to it to activate it.

Best regards,
David

I did that. Worked for 10 seconds, couldn't load today or 7 days, then crashed and now the plugin is gone. When I go to look under options, it shows that it's checked, but plugin dissapeared.

It looks like I my outlook plugin is corrupt. I uninstalled, reinstalled, still not working.

Jonathan,

Our plugin is an Internet Explorer frame. That said, do you have the latest version of IE installed on your computer? Even if you use a different browser as your default, our plugin will use IE and share all its settings, cache etc.

We will also soon release an update to our plugin that will address multiple issues with it, but also port it to a different engine away from IE.

Best regards,
David

Well my IE is up to date. The plug in loads but when I try to login it just gets stuck trying to load my lists.
Help.
I'm using Outlook 2010 pro IE 11 and the latest download from your site.

OutlookTodoistADX' has fired an exception. Click the 'Details' button to see the detailed information about the error.

This is the message i'm still getting. I am on IE 11 and still crashing. The program worked for a few minutes, wouldn't let me load today or 7 days, and then crashed. Now the plugin is gone again. Help please.

And how soon will that happen? A time frame would be nice other than soon.

I have the most irritating message EVERY time I do anything in Outlook with any click at all, and I have to click to make the message go away.

The actual wording is below. How do I get the message to GO AWAY? I am presently regretting the Outlook Todoist plug in big time

Hello Czernie,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience, we will soon release an updated version of our Outlook plugin, ported on a new engine which will address this issue.

For now, unfortunately uninstalling our plugin may be the only solution in this case :(

Best regards,
David

I too am having an issue. We just installed it today. I wanted to see if the issue has been resolved, or if we are waiting for the update?

Todoist doesn't even show up as an add-in for me (following the above steps).

Thanks!

Hi,

I was having a similar issue but then was able to get my plugin working again.

What I did was to go to the Outlook Add-Ins area.

Then where it says Manage: with a drop down, I selected Disabled Add-Ins and selected go. (After a fresh re-install of the Todoist Outlook plugin. If you don't see your plugin, you probably don't have it installed.)

Then I enabled the ToDoist Addin. This makes it show up as "inactive" in the Outlook Add-ins.

Hit Close then Ok

Then Go back to the Outlook Add-In's section and then choose COM Add-In's. From here check the box next to the ToDoist Add-In and select ok.

This reloaded the add-in successfully for me. I think Outlook was disabling the add-in so simply trying to reactivate via the COM Add-in section wasn't working until the add-in was enabled again in Outlook.

I'm running Win8.1 Enterprise, IE11, Outlook 2013 Pro.

Hope this helps someone else!

Thanks

Brandon

Hi,

Sadly no, since February we have had some issues and are now in the process of finding a new developer to fix these issues.
