Trying to forward email to calendar using <date> feature

AM

I found instructions to forward emails and have them appear on your calendar, but it only ends up in my task list and not on my calendar.

I use Outlook. I downloaded the Outlook plug in. I created a project called Calendar. I set up Calendar to accept tasks from my email address. I opened an email in Outlook, clicked on "Forward" and typed the following in the body of the forwarding email, "<date 26 March at 8am> @calendar".

When I close Outlook and re-open it, the email appears as a task under my Calendar project with a due date of March 26 @ 8, but it is not on my Outlook calendar.

I don't want to add a calender with the URL, because I don't want all my other tasks on the calendar; just the meetings I choose to forward.

Suggestions?

Ann

Hello Ann,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to link a specific project from within Todoist to Outlook's Calendar. The only way to view tasks from Todoist in Outlook's Calendar is through the iCal feed. If you subscribe to it, each task with a due date will show up in Outlook.

Best regards,
David
