Quick way to assign a task to a project?

Good Day

I was wondering if there is a quick way to assign a task to a project while entering it into a field, maybe like a symbol before the project name like we have for labels?

If I was in a project and I wanted to enter multiple tasks, all in different tasks, I would have to keep jumping between projects. I could use the Inbox function and then sort it later but there are times when I forget where it should go :(

It would be great if there was something like labels for projects? Maybe the # symbol? So I could type # and it would have a drop down of all the projects I have and can select from there? If I don't include a project, it would go to that current project or Inbox.

Thoughts?

Hello Tariq,

We will implement such option soon. Right now, to quickly add tasks, you can hit the / key to get to the search box, then type #projectname into the search box (it will auto-complete as you start typing) and then use the "a" key to open the task input field.

The only other alternative is to use Ctrl+Q for the Quick Add feature and then TAB your way through to the project drop-down menu and start typing its name to select it.

Best regards,
David
