OutlookTodoistADX version: 2.5.0.0
I do not see anything newer than this on your website.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\OutlookTodoistADX.AddinModule\"LoadBehavior"=dword:00000003

The problem started after restarting Outlook today (after about a week after I began using todoist).

I see the same stack in the questions of others. Here are the details:

Hi Deepak,

We are currently re-writing and fixing a bunch of issues with our Outlook plugin, and we hope to have this done soon.

For now, please uninstall the current version (from Add/Remove Programs) and clear the cache for IE, and install this version.

Is this still a temporary fix? I'm experiencing the issue every time I change something within outlook.

Thanks,

Hello Ron,

It's a semi-temporary fix. It should address this issue, but it's still not the final fixed version which we'll publish very soon.

Best regards,
David

I am still having the issue despite having followed the instructions above. My issue is similar to Ron's. Is there anything I can do to turn off these notifications?

After several days of using the version you referred me to, the exception error issue began again.

https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/cd2fb847eb3397185b45a892c8d94dc5/as/OutlookTodoist.Adx.exe

I uninstalled and re-installed per you link above. It worked well again for 24 hours or so but started again this afternoon.

Since I am able to use the browser version just as well via a few more mouse clicks and key strokes, I'll do so until the new version of the MS Outlook plugin is released. Please let me know when the new is available.

FYI for background...I'm using:
Windows 8.1
Putlook 2013

Thanks,
ron

Same problem. I started on the 2.5.0.0 plugin version. I encountered it only after this scenario.
From Outlook Inbox using "Add email as task" creating the ask in plugin. After that, I move the email to a different Outlook folder for reference and decluttering In.
If I don't move or delete the mail, she doesn't get so upset (the plugin). So now I first move the mail and than create task. (after uncompleting all previous through mail created tasks and deleting them).
Would be happier with my natural process, however (task-move).
Looking over the horizon of my mail lifecycle, they will be moved to an archive after a specific time, kindly also take that into account also when trying to overcome this.

Followed all the directions above, still having an issue. When do you expect an update?

Just to add to this - I get this error if I accidentally close my inbox window (the first window that opens when I boot up Outlook). If I switch Inbox to calendar for a second and then switch back - this is the error that occurs.

The only fix is to close outlook and reopen.

Hi. My Outlook Todoist is no longer allowing me to login using Google Account. It keeps saying OpenID authentication failed. It was logging in just fine until yesterday.

Hello Sid,

Please tell me - does the same error message occur if you try to log through the web at https://todoist.com ?

If not, please try to log in, go to Settings (top-right corner) -> Account, use "Edit" to set a password for Todoist and then try to log in manually in Outlook using the newly set password. We'll of course also look into this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Hi David. Thanks for your help. I have been able to login using a created password for now. The login using Google Account is still not working. However, everytime I create a calendar event in my Outlook I am getting a weird error that states:

"Outlook TodoistADX has fired an exception". This error shows up every time I do anything after creating the calendar event, and will not go away unless I restart Outlook. I can send you a copy of the details of the error it shows to an email address if it helps.

Thanks.

Sid,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, this is one of the remaining issue of the current version of our Outlook plugin, we're working on an update right now, it will be available soon and address multiple issues + port the plugin to a better engine.

Hi David. Thanks. Hope it gets fixed soon. You might know this one already, but thought I'll bring it up, that with the updated Todoist Next Outlook version, the Quick Add icon disappears unless the text right next to the search button is half hidden. If I adjust the column width to be able to view the text in full, the + button just disappears.

Thanks.

How much longer until Todist works with Outlook? I upgraded to premium thinking that would solve it but it didn't. I can't run Outlook 2010 with the plug-in so after installing and uninstalling 4 times I have given up until the fix is available.

This is ridiculous. Each time there is an upgrade this happens. Kindly do look into your release processes.

Could you please solve the issue faster! It's really pointless in clicking another extra button "OK" to put something into my to-do list.

I'm getting a similar error. It's firing when Outlook starts and fires again anytime I click ANYTHING within Outlook. I am reviewing your software for possible use for my company, so anything you can do to help me resolve this issue would be helpful.
