Add quick entry box to all Todoist apps

For example, in the Chrome extension of the iOS app: a text box where I can type a task and press return to enter it.

To keep it simple, maybe default it to the Inbox category and a due date of today.

After entering a task, return focus to the now empty text box so I can keep banging in tasks.

Hello Leo,

That's already possible. To quickly add one single task, hit Ctrl+Q type it in and save with Enter.

To quickly add multiple tasks, if you're within a project, hit the "a" key, type it it, hit Enter and you'll see another input box below. If you're not within a project, you can also navigate into a project using your keyboard. Use / to get to the search bar and then #inbox to enter it.

Best regards,
David

What if the window is unfocused ? Do you have to open the app each time you want to add a task, isn't there a shortcut ?

Hello Aurélie,

In case of our browser plugins - yes, but if you use our Windows app, it has a global shortcut that will work from anywhere. By default it's Ctrl+Alt+T, but you can configure it by right-clicking on the TD icon in the system tray and going to "Configuration:.
