Change language (at least for date/time field)

VS

Hi,

Is there any way to change Todoist language for webapp and Android app?
The problem is that I have different languages on my machines and android phone, and every time I need to enter date/time for task, I have to figure out what the current language is.
I would prefer to set up one language on all my Todoist apps, at least for date/time field, not necessarily for whole UI.

Hello Vladimir,

On the web, you can click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, go to Settings and pick your language from here.

The Android app however, will always use the language you use on your phone and this can't be changed unfortunately.

Best regards,
David

David, thanks for your answer.
Could you please clarify whether there are any plans to introduce the same setting in Android app?

Hi there,

My problem is slightly different. My phone (android) has system set in Polish (language that Todoist supports), but App from Google Play installs Todoist in English. What may cause that? Windows and Web app works fine as Polish.

However I also voted to have possibility to change language of Todoist regardless system's settings - that would be great to switch from Polish to English from time to time, for instance just to practice language skills.

Thanks in advance for your reply and wish you a very Happy New Year.

Hello Grzegorz,

This is caused by the fact that only our web interface was translated into Polish so far, no mobile apps or due date support.

However, we've just finished translating everything into Polish so it will soon be supported in the next updates.

Best regards,
David

Hello,

Can the language be changed only by premium users? I clicked on various languages in the web settings but it sticks to English.

BTW is French language available on mobile apps?

Thanks

Julien

Hi Julien,

If you sign out of your account, and on the button of the log-in page, click on the English link, this will allow you to change it. Does that seem to stay on the language you want? There may be an issue with the settings for Todoist itself.

Yes, French is available.

Regards,
Brendon.
