Priority Tasks aren't Sorted

Hi Guys,

My tasks that are given a number 1 priority aren't showing up higher on my task list than my tasks that are given a number 4 priority. Can you please look into this for me?

Thanks,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Please tell me - do the tasks above have due times? Tasks with times are always at the top.

If they aren't, then unfortunately this is an issue we're aware of, but so far we don't know what triggers it and without this information, we're unable to identify or fix it :(

Please try to clear your browser's cache and if this won't help - manually move the tasks in the correct order and from there on, this new order should be saved and remembered by Todoist.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Sorry it wasn't able to get back to you earlier, I was out on vacation but now I'm back. The tasks in question only have a due date but do not have a time associated with them just like you were saying. I do have to manually rearrange them when this happens and you are correct, Todoist does remember my changes.

However, there are times when I rearrange my priority 1 tasks in my today view and Todoist remembers how I've arranges them for a few hours but after a while it gets them out of order.

Is that a bug too?

Thanks David,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Unfortunately, this may be a part of this bug. We're unsure why it happens and can't trigger it - if we do at some point, we'll fix it permanently. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
