How to batch select tasks to move to another day?

DB

I am using Todoist on my Windows 7 PC. I often have to move several tasks from Today to another date. Moving each one in turn is time-consuming.

Is there any way to select several tasks at once and move them together?

Thanks.

Hello Dani,

Please hold the CTRL key and start left-clicking on task's names. This will multi-select them and allow you to use the "Change date" option from the menu at the top which will appear as soon as you start selecting your tasks.

Best regards,
David

Cool feature. Can this be done on iPad/iPhone as well?

Hello L,

Not yet, but we'll consider adding such option in future updates.

This doesn't seem to work for me. I do it and it highlights all the tasks but only changes one of them. Am I missing something?

Hello,

I've checked it now and it seems to work as expected.

Please confirm if this is what you're doing:
- Hold the CTRL key.
- While holding it, left-click on each task's name to highlight them.
- Release the CTRL key.
- Click on the red "Change date" link from the gray menu at the top.
- Click on the date in the calendar for which you want to set these tasks.

At this point, all selected tasks change their dates to the day you've selected.

Let us know in what browsers did you try to do this.

Best regards,
David

Thanks this worked. I was doing it wrong. I missed the grey menu at the top.
