Recuring task completion not saved

RB

I have had this problem for a while and it's becoming more and more annoying. I have some tasks that are monthly and every time I try to tick them as "complete" for the last month, the action is not saved.

Firstly, when I tick the task as "completed", the interface show me the new date, for exemplo "10th Dec 2014". However, after a log off + log in, the old date "10th Nov 2014" remains as the "next" due date.

I have tried to do this on my Android and on the web application. Both applications show the same behaviour described before. I also have tried to uninstall and clear all the app data from my Android phone and only access the system through web app. None of the attempts to get the correct task status have been successful.

I need a solution, because paying for an app that simply does not do the simplest expected action is, at least, really frustrating.

I look forward to see any position as soon as possible.

Hello Rafael,

Please tell me - what's the exact due date format that you type into the date field for these tasks? "Every 1 month"? "Ev 10"? "Ev 30 days"?

Best regards,
David

Rafael,

I've used this date in a task, checking it off always moves the date correctly, but when I've tried to log out after completing it and log back in - the date completely disappeared from the task (not changed back, just was deleted).

That said, even though that's not the exact behavior you described, this could be a related issue and I've passed it to the developers now.

Best regards,
David

David,

thanks for your follow up. I will look forward to see the solution of this problem.

As an additional information, I have noticed that all the reccuring tasks with an "starting" expression have the same behaviour/problem, while normal reccuring tasks have no problem at all.

Rafael,

Just to clarify - are all those with a "starting date" set to start in the past or does the same happen if they start in the future?

Best regards,
David

David,

All of the actual dates are in the past, especially because I have delayed the execution of them for a number of reasons in my personal schedule, and also 'cause I have had this problem I cannot precise how long. However, as I can remember, I created them before the due/starting date.
