How can I set a task for a biweekly occurrence on a Friday

GM

I tried using "every 2nd friday" and that did not work. It actually jumped from November 22 to December 13. I need the task to occur every other week on a Friday starting with November 22.
Thank you

Hello Gaylotta,

To set such task, please use the due date "every 14 days starting Friday". You can replace Friday with any other day or specific date you want the task to begin.

Ok, I did that and in part this was successful. What I have is it recurring only one Friday and not two Fridays in the month. For example it appears for December 13 and January 10. Also it did not show up for November 22.

Gaylotta,

Please confirm, is "every 14 days starting Friday" exactly what you've typed within the due date field (and NOT "ev 2nd Friday")?

If so - I can't reproduce this issue, it sets the task to "today" for me (it's already Friday in my time zone) and then to 6 Dec, 20 Dec, 3 Jan, 17 Jan and so on.

Best regards,
David

Yes, that is exactly what I typed. I am in EST and it's Thursday . I noticed that when I tried to reenter by rewording the task it does not show up in the calendar. The original task still appears in the calendar but it is not on the Todoist list. How can I delete it from my Google calendar?

Gaylotta,

Which browser/plugin are you using? If you use another browser/plugin does this still happen?

I am not able to reproduce this issue as of yet.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Gaylotta,

So to clarify - the task only doesn't work in the Google Calendar? Please note that Google syncs the iCal feeds only once a day so any change you make within Todoist will be reflected within 24 hours.

Best regards,
David

I use Chrome for Todoist. Don't know what I did but the task appeared as scheduled in my Google calendar today. I do understand that there is an inherent delay, but even with that previously it did not show up. Now it is there every other week, using "every 14 days starting Friday." Maybe I made too many entries/tries from my tablet widget and my laptop.

Suggestion, please add that command to your list of recurring commands. I thank you for your prompt support.
