How to Log in with different ID on Todoist on laptop?

I have installed todoist on my android phone and on my laptop. I have two gmail accounts. One if for the official purpose and another is personal. On my laptop I am unable to log in with another gmail ID. No option seen as on android phone.

Hello,

If you're using the Google Login method then Todoist will always check if you're already logged into a Google account. If you are and this account has a Todoist account linked to it - it will log you in.

That said, if you want to use a different account, please go to Gmail or Google+ and log out from your Google account there. Now, when you'll try to log into Todoist it will ask for your credentials to select the right Google account and log into it.

To avoid this, you can also use the direct login method by typing in your email and password into Todoist. To do so, log in via Google first, then go to Todoist's Settings (top-right corner) -> Account and use the "Edit" link to set a password.

This will be a new password independent from your Google password which you can use for manual login into Todoist.

Hai,

Thank You for your quick response. I tried as you said above . I log out at Google Plus. But again the same problem. I am also trying to find out Edit buttons as you said on the top right corner but unable to find. Is it because I am not the premium client?

In mean time , i want to inform you that I want to log in with the ID which is log in at Google Plus. Previously, I loged in on Todoist with my official ID
but its not being changed. I am really having problem and feels like switching off from Todoist.

So just to clarify - you want to use two different Todoist accounts - one separate account on your Android phone and one on your laptop, is that correct?

If so, before you log in using the second email address you must create the second account first.

If that now what you want and you want to use the same Todoist account, you'll have to log in using the same credentials across all platforms.

The settings are available for any account (incl. free accounts) after you log in. You can get there by clicking on the gear icon in the top-right corner. Please make sure that you're trying to access Todoist through https://todoist.com
