After I have clicked completed for a task, the reminder still alerts me later the same day, and the next day, even though the task is completed.

Hi Joe,

Did you create this on a mobile device or a desktop platform? Which OS were you using? If you search for this task now, can you find it, if you right click on it and choose Reminders, what is listed for it?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Joe,

If you search for this task, do you find it, and does it have any reminders attached to it? Are the notifications still happening?

Thanks,
Brendon.

I located the completed task that kept popping up, however I was unable to right click on it to bring up reminders, etc.

Joe,

Please try to uncomplete this task by entering the project in which it was, clicking on the circular icon at the bottom (on the web) and using the check box next to it to un-check it. After that, you'll be able to right-click on it or left click to open the edit box and reach the reminders from there through the clock icon.

Best regards,
David

I un-checked the task. I did reach the reminders. However, I did not know what to do under reminders. It shows a 30 minute reminder, as all of my tasks do. I went to check off the task as completed again. Two or three times in the process the reminder popped up again. Getting frustrated.

Joe,

Please clarify - did you actually remove this 30 minute before reminder from the task before checking it off again (you can delete it by clicking on the trashcan icon)?

Best regards,
David

Well, I just deleted the task on my laptop. Five seconds later another reminder briefly popped up on my iPhone again. I hope that was it's last dying breathe. I hope in the future I will be able to chick "complete" on an iPhone task, and be done with it and not have it remind me again to do it, or to have to delete it on my laptop to convince it that I am really done with the task.

Joe,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we hope Apple will address this for good and we're planning to send a documentation to them about this issue as so far everything points to their servers sending these notifications mistakenly even though our app communicates with them correctly.

Best regards,
David
