ToDoist for Windows Stopped Working
Hi - I am really enjoying the app and use it extensively. You guys did a great job. That being said, I have been running the windows version (in addition to the outlook plug in) fine for sometime now; however, this morning when i try to use it i get an error message "Todoist for Windows has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." I have uninstalled, re-installed, rebooted, downloaded the old version (same results) - any thoughts?
Please try to install either of these two versions and let me know if the issue persists:

Also, please check if the app isn't already running in the system tray (notifications area) by any chance.
Hi David...unfortunately, that did not work. However, I changed the internet connection I had (I was working in a hotel) and it started working. So it must have been something with the internet connection I guess. That being said, I know have a different issue - if i shut down Todoist, disconnect my internet and go offline, when i go back to the app i get a blank screen in the app. However, if, i open it up with the internet connetcted, open the app, and then go offline, it behaves fine.
This is correct, our apps are built with HTML5 which requires a connection before going offline. We hope we can improve this in the future, but it is how HTML5 currently works.
As for the other issue, glad you have it working. We do have issues depending on type of network, we hope to solve these soon.
thanks to both of you for the quick replies. After years of searching for a simple app that works for me but has some advanced functionality i found it with Todoist. I look forward to future improvements and enhancements!
