If you paste too much information into the task the Add Task button falls below the browser border.
Hi Robert,I am not able to reproduce this issue. Which browser are you using and which version?I have added more than 20 lines into the task name (which should not be where you enter this information) and it stays at the top where it should be.Thanks,Brendon.
Hi Brendon - Yes, it's in the task name field. I'm using Win 7 and Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m, which is the latest stable version as of this morning. See a screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h90lb5a8si8e12p/Todoist%20Gmail%20Plugin%20Overflow%20Image.jpg.I agree that the task name is probably not the best place for a large amount of text but it's the quickest way to capture a lot of information and save it, for me at least.Maybe put a character limit on the field or put a scrollbar on it?Best,Robert
Hello Robert,As Brendon mentioned, this is indeed not the way we've designed the task name option to be and such long text should be used within task notes. In fact, there is a character limitation in the regular task name field so if you continue using it this way, some of the information may and will be lost if you paste too long text there. As for the issue itself - because it's very specific for such use case, we may not fix it anytime soon, but please note that you don't have to use the "Save" button to add the task, but only hit ENTER to save it or TAB to get to the date field, using Enter from this field will also save it.Best regards,David
Hello Brandon,I can confirm this happens as well, but only if you past the data and then try to scroll back to see it. I am using Windows 7 with Firefox 25.
Thanks, David. It's just a bit ugly but I understand there are more important things to focus on.
