Future tasks at the end

TR

Hi

If I enter or edit a task to a date in the future it remains in the same order it was entered on the list. This is particularly "annoying" when the item is at the top of a list and you want to change the date to lets say 6 months later. Unless you manually move the item it will remain in the same position with the future date when I look at project - thus I read the task over and over again.

If I could sort this, my preference would be the following:
By date
Priority items first on the date
None date tasks after all the dated items

Hope you can help.

Thanks and best regards,

Torkel

Hello Torkel,

If your workflow doesn't require having tasks displayed in a specific order within a project, you can quickly hit the "s" key to automatically reorder all of them based on due date.
