Retrieving "achieved e-mails' from To-do-ist Gmail plug
Just installed your Gmail plugin. I love the concept, but i noticed the following:
For me, keeping non-urgent out my inbox by archiving them is favorable for my workflow. But if i assign a task to an e-mail, and archive the e-mail (which will move it from my inbox to 'all messages'), i cannot later on retrieve the e-mail by clicking the task in the plug-in.
Any info/help on this?
Thank you for your report, we'll look into this issue and see if it can be addressed.
Just noticed that dragging the task to my web browser navigation [Firefox] will retrieve the e-mail (also for archived).
So that can be a solution for now.
Please let me know if the issue still persists now.
It does - but now it seems the whole function of retrieving a message (inboxed or not) is not working when i click the link.
Using Firefox 25.0 here.
Maybe i do something wrong, but in my first use it did work.
Do i need to update the pluginn?
I also feel it's a fantastic idea. I am using chrome. When I click the task link I created with the plug in, it doesn't go back to the original mail. I just have a blank page. I also can't see any way of giving the task a title from inside gmail.
Please let me know what I need to do
Thanks for a great product.
Thank you for this information, we'll look into this issue again.
To change the name of the task, simply type in a new name while you see the task input field opened.
Hi David. Thanks for the reply. Is the task input field the url for returning to the mail in Gmail? I can put a title before it but it looks a little untidy in Todoist, though I can live with it.
I still go to a blank page instead of gmail with the todoist app in the bottom right corner when I click the task link I created with the plug in .
When you click on a task, but not directly on the name, but anywhere else within the task's line, a field will open with the name of the task representing the mail's subject line - this is the text that you can change or edit freely. Try to add some text after it and you'll see how it works.
As for the other issue - we're looking into it, sorry for the inconvenience.
