Is there any other option the click to Add button and then cancel the adding process?
would want to know the same?
Hello,Unfortunately, there is no other option than the "Add" button. Please note that instead of closing the plugin using the "X" icon, you can also just click anywhere on its top bar to minimize it.Best regards,David
What is the "Add" button and where can I find it (using firefox)?
Hello Michael,The "TD Add" button shows up within Gmail after you install the Gmail plugin from https://todoist.com/gmailPlease take a look at this short video to see how it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKng0mJVGMkBest regards,David
Many thanks, that worked. Now I got a different problem: Email tasks do not open when I click on them (I see the URL down there in the address line, but nothing happens...)(Firefox, no Labs enabled)ThanksMichael
Michael,Please confirm, do these links work when you close your browser, ten reopen it, access Gmail and without clicking on any mail or tab, go to the Todoist plugin and click on the link?Best regards,David
Indeed, it works (opens the right email then). But when I close the email, click on the inbox and click again on the mail in my Todolist it stops working again.
Michael,Thank you for the confirmation. This is an issue we're working on right now. Sorry for the inconvenience.Best regards,David
Thanks for the info, David.I guess "working on it right now" does not mean we are having a solution for it during the next cpl of days?Anyways, great support, answering all those questions within minutes.BestMichaelps: I am also in favor of a captive calendar app, hope you guys put that in soon
Michael,The only "solution" for now is to use a different browser than Firefox as this issue only occurs in FF.Best regards,David
Is it possible to add some button like "TD Add" button but for opening function only? Is it the problem? One way functional is really annoying!
Hello Kirill,Thank you for your feedback, we will look into it, but for now please note that you don't have to completely close the Todoist Gmail app, but only minimize it by clicking anywhere on its top gray bar. It will keep the bar itself displayed, but not completely close. Also, reloading the page brings the closed app back as well.Best regards,David
Hi,I do love ToDoist but this lack of access to the full ToDoist features on Gmail is seriously inconvenient... :(I use & rely on ToDoist so much at work and at home, I've been trying to officially introduce and encourage the use of ToDoist in my office but I've already had colleagues criticising the missing features and its incompatibility with Gmail on Chrome.I hope something can be done to have all the ToDoist features on Gmail soon...!Kind Regards,Mari
Hello Mari,Our Gmail plugin is identical to our web-app In fact, it's a window containing our web-version which has a responsive design in smaller windows. Please let me know what features can you not access through the Gmail plugin?Best regards,David
Hi David,THank you for your prompt reply. The ToDoist window pops-up when I open my Gmail, however it will disappear when I close the ToDolst box and cannot re-open unless reloading the page. There is no Add to Todoist button on my page. i.e. Just above the e-mail inbox, there is only "Select", "Refresh". "More" buttons.I hope this makes sense and I'm very sorry if I'm just being daft and not doing the right thing..Kind Regards,Mari
Hi David,Apologies for the multiple messages. I've just deleted the plugin, reinstall the programme and it worked :)I will introduce the App at work during our Staff Training and CPD Week in March.Thank you for your time and efficient support you've provided.Thank you again and have a lovely day,Mari
